The upcoming Oppo Reno 16 Pro has surfaced in fresh leaks, offering an early glimpse into its expected features and release window. The device is being developed as the successor to the Oppo Reno 15 Pro and could arrive sooner than anticipated.
According to recent reports, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro may launch between July and August 2026. This suggests a quicker upgrade cycle compared to previous Reno series releases. While the brand has not officially confirmed the launch, multiple leaks indicate that development is already well underway.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.32 inch OLED display, slightly smaller than its predecessor but still offering a premium viewing experience. In terms of design, it is tipped to come with a glass and aluminium body along with a dedicated action button similar to those seen on recent OnePlus devices.
On the camera front, the device is likely to retain a triple rear setup headlined by a 200 megapixel primary sensor. This aligns with the company’s focus on high resolution photography in its Reno lineup. The camera module design is expected to follow a layout similar to the previous generation.
Battery performance is also expected to see a slight improvement over the Oppo Reno 15 Pro which already featured a 6500mAh battery. The new model could bring enhancements in efficiency alongside fast charging capabilities.
Leaks suggest that the phone may be available in multiple configurations including 12GB and 16GB RAM options paired with storage variants going up to 1TB. It is also expected to be offered in several color options including black green purple and white.
Under the hood, the device could be powered by either the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus or Dimensity 9500 series chipset ensuring flagship level performance. The Oppo Reno 16 Pro may launch alongside other models in the lineup including standard and pro variants.
