Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man Sets Official Release Date as Cillian Murphy Returns in Explosive Wartime Film

Peaky Blinders fans can finally rejoice as Tommy Shelby steps out of the shadows once again in Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man the long-awaited Netflix film that continues the saga four years after the series finale. Creator Steven Knight teams up once more with director Tom Harper to deliver a darker grittier and high-stakes chapter set against the devastation of the Second World War. The film follows Tommy Shelby as he is pulled out of self-imposed exile and forced back into Birmingham when the chaos of war clashes with unresolved secrets from his past.

Cillian Murphy officially reprises his iconic role and revealed that returning to Tommy felt inevitable sharing that the character “wasn’t finished” with him. He expressed excitement about reuniting with Knight and Harper and promised that the film is made especially for fans who have been waiting for Tommy’s next move.

Netflix describes the storyline as a tense survival tale set in 1940 as Europe is consumed by war. As threats rise at home and abroad Tommy must confront enemies old and new while facing the moral cost of his past choices. Steven Knight teased that this chapter unleashes the Peaky Blinders into full wartime mode promising raw emotion fierce conflict and an unrestrained continuation of the Shelby legacy.

The cast brings together returning favourites and new heavyweights including Cillian Murphy Rebecca Ferguson Tim Roth Sophie Rundle Ned Dennehy Packy Lee Ian Peck Jay Lycurgo Barry Keoghan and Stephen Graham creating a powerhouse ensemble that amplifies the film’s intense wartime atmosphere.

Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man will debut in selected cinemas on March 6 2026 before arriving for global streaming on Netflix on March 20 2026 offering fans a long-awaited look at Tommy Shelby’s next battle for redemption.
