International music sensation Pitbull has called off his highly awaited India performances, leaving fans disheartened. The Grammy-winning rapper was set to return to India for concerts scheduled in Gurugram on December 6 and Hyderabad on December 8 as part of his I’m Back tour. The sudden cancellation has sparked widespread frustration among concertgoers who were eagerly waiting for his comeback.
Event partner BookMyShow issued an official confirmation stating that the tour can no longer move forward due to operational challenges. Their announcement mentioned that all affected ticket holders have already been informed through SMS email and WhatsApp and refunds will be processed within 8–10 working days. The news spread quickly online and fans voiced their anger over poor planning and last-minute updates.
Many took to social media to express that frequent cancellations and high ticket prices have become common in India’s concert scene. Some fans commented that globally popular artists like Calvin Harris and now Pitbull withdrawing their tours just before the show dates are creating trust issues among the audience.
The India tour had only been announced a week earlier and generated immense excitement among his followers. The rapper was to perform at Huda Ground in Gurugram and Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad with tickets going on sale from October 25. Pitbull has been actively touring worldwide following his recent track Now or Never with Bon Jovi gaining strong attention from fans globally.
