Poco has officially launched the Poco C85 5G smartphone in India, expanding its popular C series lineup. The new device will be available for purchase via Flipkart in three vibrant colours: Mystic Purple, Spring Green, and Power Black. The Poco C85 5G comes equipped with a large 6.9-inch HD+ display supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 810 nits. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process, paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and offers RAM options up to 8GB with 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 1TB via MicroSD card.
The phone features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera alongside a QVGA sensor for versatile photography, while selfies and video calls are handled by an 8-megapixel front camera. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, E-compass, and accelerometer. The device supports HyperOS 2.2 based on Android 15, promising two OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
Battery life is one of the key highlights, with a 6,000mAh cell supporting 33W wired fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Poco C85 5G is IP64 rated for dust and splash resistance and weighs approximately 211 grams, measuring 173.16×81.07×7.9mm. The device will go on sale in India starting December 16 with prices beginning at Rs. 12,499 for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB variant, while the higher 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models are priced at Rs. 13,499 and Rs. 14,499 respectively. Introductory offers and bank discounts make it even more affordable.
