Poco has officially announced that its F7 series and X7 models will begin receiving the HyperOS 3 update this month, bringing the latest Android 16-based features to these popular devices. The update follows the recent launch of the Poco F8 series and introduces a host of AI-powered functionalities and dynamic interface enhancements.
The HyperOS 3 operating system, based on Google’s Android 16, is already available on the Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro, and will soon extend to other Poco devices. In November 2025, the update is scheduled for Poco F7 Ultra, Poco F7 Pro, Poco F7, Poco X7 Pro Iron Man Edition, Poco X7 Pro, and the standard Poco X7. By December, the update will roll out to the Poco F6 series, Poco M7, Poco M6 Pro, and Poco C75, with additional devices receiving HyperOS 3 between December 2025 and March 2026.
Key Features of HyperOS 3 include HyperIsland, a pill-shaped notification feature similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, AI writing tools like DeepThink mode, AI Speech Recognition for real-time transcription and audio summaries, and AI Dynamic Wallpapers along with AI Cinematic Lock Screen, allowing users to convert still images into interactive wallpapers. These enhancements aim to provide a smarter, more dynamic, and visually engaging experience for Poco and Xiaomi users alike.
The rollout of HyperOS 3 highlights Poco’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge Android updates and AI integration across its devices, enhancing productivity, entertainment, and customization options for users worldwide.
