Poco F8 Ultra Leaks Reveal Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset and Massive 7000mAh Battery

Date:

The Poco F8 Ultra is shaping up to be the next flagship from the Xiaomi sub-brand, following the Poco F7 Ultra launched globally in March 2025. Rumors suggest the new device will bring significant upgrades, including a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 7000mAh battery, and advanced camera technology, making it a major contender in the flagship smartphone segment.

According to leaks shared online, the Poco F8 Ultra could feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. On the front, it may sport a 50-megapixel selfie camera, an upgrade from the 32-megapixel sensor on its predecessor. The handset is expected to include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IP69 dust and water resistance for added durability.

The device is rumored to support 100W wired fast charging as well as wireless charging. It may come with an LTPO OLED display offering either 1.5K or 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The Poco F8 Ultra will also feature enhanced speakers, haptics, and a premium design that continues Poco’s focus on performance-driven smartphones.

The global launch of the Poco F8 Ultra is reportedly confirmed, and it is expected to debut in multiple markets, potentially including India. This new flagship is anticipated to succeed the Poco F7 Ultra, which features a 6.67-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, up to 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage.

With its cutting-edge chipset, massive battery, and advanced camera system, the Poco F8 Ultra promises to deliver a high-performance experience for power users, gamers, and photography enthusiasts alike.
