Poco M8 5G Design Revealed Ahead of India Debut; Confirmed Ultra-Slim 7.35mm Build

Date:

Poco is gearing up to launch the Poco M8 5G in India, and the company has started teasing the phone’s design ahead of its official debut. A dedicated Flipkart microsite has confirmed that the upcoming handset will be available for purchase through the e-commerce platform. While Poco has not yet disclosed the exact launch date, fans can expect a sleek, ultra-slim device with a standout design.

The Poco M8 5G will feature a slim 7.35mm profile and weigh approximately 178 grams, positioning it as one of the lightest and thinnest phones in its category. The smartphone’s design includes a curved metal-like frame, a textured rear panel, and a slightly raised camera module. The rear camera module is reportedly squircle-shaped and centre-aligned, housing a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel AI main sensor and an LED flash.

The Poco M8 5G is expected to offer physical volume controls and a power button on the right side of the frame, while the left side remains clean. Rumors suggest a curved display for a premium feel, enhancing both ergonomics and aesthetics. The handset is anticipated to launch in black, blue, and a dual-tone silver-and-black variant.

Alongside the base model, the Poco M8 series is rumored to include a Pro variant featuring higher RAM and storage configurations: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. Both models are expected to run Android 15-based HyperOS 2 and will pack a massive 6,330mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.

As the launch approaches, Poco is likely to reveal further details about the display, processor, and other specifications, solidifying the Poco M8 5G as a competitive option in the mid-range 5G smartphone segment.
