Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max spotted on UAE certification site ahead of global launch

Date:

The upcoming Poco X8 Pro series appears to be moving closer to its international debut after both the standard Pro and Pro Max variants surfaced on the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority database. Certification listings typically signal that an official launch is around the corner although the documents do not reveal full specifications.

According to the listing model numbers 2511FPC34G and 2602BPC18G are associated with the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max respectively. This marks one of the first regulatory confirmations of the Pro Max branding for the lineup. Industry reports suggest the two devices may be rebranded versions of the China launched Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max.

Leaked renders indicate that the Poco X8 Pro could feature a flat matte rear design with gently curved edges and a vertical pill-shaped camera housing positioned in the top left corner. Two distinct lens rings are visible within the module. The device has been shown in black white and turquoise shades and is expected to include a flat display with slim bezels and a centred hole punch cutout. The power button highlighted in orange sits alongside the volume keys on the right side.

The Poco X8 Pro Max appears visually similar but may feature slightly larger camera rings hinting at upgraded imaging hardware.

In terms of specifications the Poco X8 Pro is tipped to sport a 6.59 inch 1.5K TCL M10 OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate up to 2000 nits high brightness mode and 3840Hz PWM dimming. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. Camera details point to a 50 megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 20 megapixel front camera. Battery capacity is rumoured to reach 6500mAh with 100W wired charging and 27W reverse charging support.

Meanwhile the Poco X8 Pro Max may step up to a larger 6.83 inch 1.5K OLED display and run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. Reports suggest a 50 megapixel Light Hunter 600 main sensor with OIS alongside an 8 megapixel ultra wide shooter and the same 20 megapixel selfie camera. The Pro Max variant is also expected to feature a massive 8500mAh battery with similar fast charging capabilities.

With certification now secured anticipation is building for an official global unveiling of the Poco X8 Pro series in the coming weeks.
