Dubai’s retail scene is about to get even more exciting as popular budget fashion giant Primark prepares to launch three new stores across the city by the first quarter of 2026. Known for its affordable fashion and household essentials Primark is teaming up with the Alshaya Group a major retail franchise partner to make its UAE debut in a big way.
Shoppers can look forward to browsing Primark’s signature low-priced offerings at some of Dubai’s most iconic shopping destinations — Dubai Mall Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif. The announcement was officially made by Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden during a live segment on Virgin Radio Dubai’s Kris Fade Show.
Before the Dubai launch Primark will first open its doors in the region with a flagship store at The Avenues Mall in Kuwait scheduled for the end of 2025. Following that the fashion retailer will expand into Dubai with three simultaneous openings at top-tier malls early next year.
What truly sets Primark apart is its unwavering commitment to value. Despite entering a new market the brand will retain its famously low pricing with jeans starting at just Dhs50 and basic t-shirts available for only Dhs15. This move is expected to attract budget-conscious fashion lovers and families eager to shop for quality items without breaking the bank.
Expressing his excitement about the expansion John Hadden shared that launching three stores right from the beginning reflects their strong belief in Dubai’s shopping culture and the demand for affordable fashion. He emphasized that customers can expect the same great prices that made Primark a household name in the UK and Ireland.
The arrival of Primark marks a significant addition to the UAE’s retail landscape and is set to become a game-changer for fashion shopping in Dubai. With a wide range of trendy clothing accessories homeware and essentials Primark’s upcoming stores are bound to draw massive footfall from both residents and tourists.
