Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • ¼ cup peas
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onions
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric (haldi)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for brushing

Step-by-Step Method

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix maida, salt, and oil until crumbly. Slowly add water to form a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Make the Filling: Heat a little oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, then sauté onions and ginger-garlic paste until golden. Add peas, mashed potatoes, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2–3 minutes before cooling.
  3. Shape the Samosas: Divide dough into small balls, roll into ovals, and cut in half. Shape each half into a cone, fill with potato mixture, and seal with water.
  4. Air Fry to Perfection: Place samosas in the air fryer basket, brush lightly with oil, and cook at 190°C for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Serve these crunchy and flavorful samosas hot with chutney or ketchup for a perfect healthy snack alternative.
