Chinese smartphone brand Realme is reportedly preparing to launch two new handsets in India: the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme C81. Leaks suggest that the devices will offer multiple RAM and storage options along with new colourways, building excitement among fans ahead of the official launch.
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G could arrive in four configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and a top-tier 12GB + 512GB variant. Colour options are expected to include Master Grey, Master Gold, and Camellia Pink, making the phone appealing to a wide audience. This will mark the first Pro+ model in the Realme 16 series following the Realme 14 Pro+ 5G released earlier this year in India.
Meanwhile, the Realme C81, a 4G-enabled device, could be offered in 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB configurations. The handset is expected to launch in Storm Black and Glacier Blue, targeting budget-conscious users. Both smartphones have been tipped by industry sources to feature competitive specifications and modern design elements, although official launch dates, prices, and detailed specifications are yet to be confirmed.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared model numbers RMX5131 for the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and RMX5388 for the Realme C81, confirming that the devices are in the pipeline. The Realme 16 series is expected to succeed the existing Realme 15 series, which includes the Realme 15 Pro 5G and Realme 15 5G. Fans in India and other Asian markets are eagerly awaiting the official announcement, which will likely reveal full features, camera specs, and pricing.
