Realme C83 5G India pricing and memory variants surface ahead of launch

Date:

Leaks around Realme’s upcoming budget smartphone suggest that the Realme C83 5G could make its India debut very soon. While the company has not officially confirmed the handset, new information circulating online points to its expected price range, RAM and storage options, and colour variants. The device is tipped to sit below the Realme C85 5G in the lineup and is likely to arrive as the successor to last year’s Realme C73 5G.

According to a recent leak, the Realme C83 5G will be introduced in three different configurations for the Indian market. The base model is expected to feature 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, while higher variants may offer 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and a top-end option with 6GB RAM paired with 128GB storage. The leaked market operating prices suggest a starting price of around Rs 13,499, going up to approximately Rs 17,499 for the highest configuration.

The smartphone is also said to arrive in two fresh colour options named Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green. With the model number RMX5256, the Realme C83 5G is expected to strengthen Realme’s presence in the affordable 5G segment.

Positioned below the Realme C85 5G, which launched in late 2025, the upcoming model is likely to bring noticeable improvements over the Realme C73 5G. The older model debuted with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a large 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 32-megapixel rear camera, and a 6,000mAh battery. If the leaks are accurate, the Realme C83 5G could offer upgraded features while maintaining competitive pricing for budget-conscious buyers looking to enter the 5G ecosystem.
