Red Magic has officially confirmed that its next gaming smartphone, the Red Magic 11 Air, will launch soon in China. A senior company executive shared the update on social media, signaling that pre-orders may begin in the coming weeks. While the brand has not announced an exact release date, industry insiders suggest the phone could debut as early as January 2026.
According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, the Red Magic 11 Air is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making it one of the most powerful gaming phones in its category. The device may also retain Red Magic’s signature active cooling fan, designed to maintain performance during extended gaming sessions.
Certification listings hint that the smartphone could feature a large 6.85-inch OLED display with a 1216 × 2688 resolution and an under-display 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the rear, it may include a 50-megapixel main sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Performance-focused configurations could go up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, while the base model may offer 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The handset is also rumored to pack a battery close to 7,000mAh capacity, potentially marketed as a 7,000mAh unit, running on Android 16-based Red Magic OS 11. With a slim profile and gaming-centric design, the Red Magic 11 Air aims to build on the success of the Red Magic 10 Air and strengthen the brand’s position in the premium gaming smartphone market.
