Redmi has officially launched the much-anticipated Redmi 15R 5G in China, offering a feature-packed device at competitive pricing. The smartphone arrives in four stylish colour variants — Cloudy White Lime Green Shadow Black and Twilight Purple — and is available in five different RAM and storage configurations to suit varied user needs.
The highlight of the Redmi 15R 5G is its large 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, promising long-lasting performance for heavy users. Running on Android 15 with the HyperOS 2 interface, the device combines smooth functionality with modern design. Its 6.9-inch display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 810 nits peak brightness while also being TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emissions, ensuring eye comfort during extended use.
Powering the Redmi 15R 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and as much as 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The 6GB + 128GB version costs CNY 1,599 (about Rs. 19,000), the 8GB + 128GB variant is CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 23,000), the 8GB + 256GB is CNY 1,899 (about Rs. 25,000), and the top-end 12GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 28,000).
