Redmi is gearing up to launch its next mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 5G, in India on January 6, 2026. Ahead of the official unveiling, key details about its expected pricing, storage variants, and specifications have surfaced online. The smartphone will be available for Indian buyers through Amazon and the Xiaomi India online store, with a dedicated product page already live.
According to industry tipsters, the Redmi Note 15 5G is likely to debut in India at a competitive price compared to its global version. The base variant is expected to feature 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, while the higher-end model could offer 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Interestingly, the Indian version is tipped to offer higher RAM at a lower price point than some international markets, making it an attractive option in the mid-range 5G segment.
On the specifications front, the Redmi Note 15 5G is confirmed to feature a large 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3200 nits. The display will support Hydro Touch 2.0 for improved responsiveness in wet conditions and carry TUV Triple Eye Care certification. The handset is also expected to include an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, the smartphone will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, promising enhanced CPU and GPU performance along with long-term smooth usage. A 5520mAh battery with 45W fast charging support is also expected, offering over a day of usage on a single charge. For photography enthusiasts, the Redmi Note 15 5G is said to pack a 108-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilisation and support for 4K video recording.
With a mix of premium design features, strong performance hardware, and aggressive pricing, the Redmi Note 15 5G is shaping up to be a strong contender in India’s competitive smartphone market.
