Date:

Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ in China, unveiling its design and key specifications ahead of the big reveal. The highly anticipated smartphone will debut alongside the Redmi Note 15 Pro variant on August 21 at 7pm (4:30pm IST). The Note 15 Pro+ is set to replace the popular Note 14 Pro+ series introduced last year and promises significant upgrades in display quality, durability, and overall performance.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature a striking 1.5K quad-curved display paired with Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass protection on both the front and the fibreglass back. The handset is also equipped with IP69K certification, ensuring advanced resistance to dust and water, making it one of the most durable smartphones in its segment.

On the design front, Redmi showcased the device in a sleek green colourway. The rear panel hosts a centrally aligned squircle-shaped camera module with three sensors and an LED flash. The primary shooter is a 50-megapixel lens with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), joined by a telephoto sensor, promising versatile photography capabilities.

Performance-wise, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is expected to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, similar to its predecessor, ensuring efficient performance for everyday tasks and gaming. The smartphone also packs a massive 7,000mAh battery, providing extended usage on a single charge.

Another standout feature is the rumored support for Beidou satellite messaging, making it the first Redmi device to integrate satellite communication, ensuring connectivity in remote areas where traditional networks fail.

With its premium design, improved durability, high-end features, and massive battery life, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is positioned to be one of the most powerful mid-range smartphones of 2025.
