Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Leak Hints at Massive 8000mAh Battery and Bigger 6.8-Inch Display

Date:

Xiaomi fans could soon see the launch of the much-anticipated Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, according to new leaks surfacing from China. If the rumours hold true, this next-generation model might arrive with a sizeable 6.8-inch flat display and a powerful battery capacity crossing 8000mAh — a notable upgrade from its predecessor.

While Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm details about the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station recently posted hints on Weibo that a Redmi device with these premium features is under development. Although the tipster didn’t mention the exact name, the comments suggest the device could be unveiled as the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro or even the Redmi K80 Ultra in 2026.

There’s more to the speculation — the new Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is expected to launch globally as the Poco F8. This would follow the trend set by the Poco F7, which was released last month in India and other international markets. The Poco F7 shares its hardware with the earlier Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, making it likely that the Poco F8 could mirror the upgrades of the upcoming Turbo 5 Pro.

To recap, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, launched in China earlier this year, came with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, a 6.83-inch OLED display boasting 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and a robust 7,550mAh battery. It also featured a 50MP dual rear camera system and a 20MP front camera, with 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging support. The phone’s durable build earned it IP66 IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Similarly, the Poco F7 5G introduced in India carried nearly identical specs but differed in design, retailing at Rs. 31,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. Following this pattern, the upcoming Poco F8 could offer the larger 8000mAh battery and wider 6.8-inch display that the leaks suggest for the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro.

Xiaomi fans looking forward to big battery life and a smooth visual experience should keep an eye out for official updates. Until then, it’s best to treat these leaked specs with cautious optimism.
