Samsung is gearing up to introduce the Galaxy A17 5G in the Indian market very soon. The smartphone, which was officially unveiled in Europe on August 6, 2025, is now expected to arrive in India with three different storage variants, making it more versatile for buyers. According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage could be priced at Rs. 18,999. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option may cost Rs. 20,499, while the top-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is expected to retail for Rs. 23,499. In comparison, the European version was launched at EUR 239 (approx. Rs. 24,393) for the 4GB + 128GB configuration and is available in black, blue, and grey color options.
The Indian edition is likely to share its hardware with the European model. That means buyers can expect a 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1330 processor built on the 5nm process, paired with Mali-G68 MP2 GPU. It could support up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
