Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone the Galaxy S26 Ultra has reportedly surfaced online through leaked promotional images just days ahead of its official unveiling at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event. The leaked marketing material suggests that Samsung may continue with a familiar hardware formula this year as the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to retain the same battery capacity and camera setup seen on its predecessor the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
According to the leak the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 5000mAh battery which remains unchanged from the previous generation. Charging speeds are also expected to stay the same with the device capable of reaching up to 75 percent charge in around 30 minutes. The marketing images further claim up to 31 hours of video playback on a single charge indicating no major improvement in battery endurance.
Camera hardware on the Galaxy S26 Ultra also appears to follow a similar path. Samsung is said to once again rely on its 200 megapixel primary camera paired with a 50 megapixel ultra wide sensor a 10 megapixel telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The front camera is tipped to remain a 12 megapixel sensor matching last year’s model.
The leaked visuals also highlight software driven features including Private Display technology which helps limit screen visibility from nearby onlookers and AI powered Photo Assist designed to enhance image editing and photography experiences. The Galaxy S26 series including the Galaxy S26 Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra is also expected to debut alongside the Galaxy Buds 4 lineup.
Samsung is set to host the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on February 25 in San Francisco where the full Galaxy S26 series will be officially announced. While internal upgrades like the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a large 6.9 inch QHD Plus Dynamic AMOLED display are expected the lack of major battery or camera upgrades may leave some users wanting more from Samsung’s next Ultra flagship.
