Skullcandy has officially introduced its new Icon ANC wireless headphones in the Indian market, offering a premium blend of audio performance and long-lasting battery life. These newly launched headphones are designed to enhance on-the-go listening with features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), splash resistance, and extended playback capabilities.
The Skullcandy Icon ANC headphones come equipped with powerful 40mm audio drivers and feature an on-ear, collapsible build for easy portability. Designed for comfort and utility, the headsets boast IPX4 splash resistance, making them suitable for workouts and light rain exposure.
Users can enjoy up to 60 hours of playback time on a full charge without ANC, and up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. For those in a hurry, a quick 10-minute charge is said to deliver up to 4 hours of listening time. The headphones support USB Type-C charging and also offer a removable AUX port for wired listening when needed.
In terms of features, Skullcandy Icon ANC supports Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint connectivity, allowing seamless switching between two devices. Additional smart features include Spotify Tap, Google Fast Pair, and Natural Voice Sidetone for improved voice call clarity. The headset also has a low-latency mode for lag-free audio while gaming or streaming.
A standout offering is the Adjustable Stay-Aware Mode, which helps users stay aware of their surroundings while listening. The headphones include three pre-set EQ modes – Music, Bass Boost, and Podcast – and allow further audio personalization through a five-band equalizer in the Skullcandy App.
The headphones are launched in two color options: Black and Bone, and weigh approximately 225g. Controls are managed via a traditional power button and a multi-functional joystick.
Priced at Rs. 8,999 as part of a limited-time launch offer, the Skullcandy Icon ANC headphones are now available through the Skullcandy India website and selected retail outlets across the country.
