Looking for a guilt-free sweet treat that fits into a healthy diet? Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan has shared a quick and simple recipe for homemade chocolates that are sugar-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free.
On August 6, Soha posted an Instagram video showing how she made these healthy chocolates during her three-week cleanse, a diet plan where she completely avoided sugar, gluten, and dairy. Despite eliminating these common dessert ingredients, she managed to create a delicious alternative to satisfy her chocolate cravings.
Soha explained in the video that she was on day 10 of her cleanse when her sweet tooth kicked in. Stepping into the kitchen for only the second time this year, she decided to experiment. “They say necessity is the mother of invention, so I tried to make homemade healthy chocolates, and they turned out looking super professional… but somewhere along the way, I think I went wrong,” she joked.
Recipe for Soha Ali Khan’s Healthy Chocolates:
- Gently melt 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a bowl placed over a pan of hot water on low heat.
- Add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder, stevia, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and glossy.
- Mix in half a teaspoon of vanilla essence.
- Pour the mixture into moulds or a small tray.
- Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
Soha, married to actor-director Kunal Kemmu, was last seen in the 2025 horror thriller Chhorii 2, where she played the eerie role of Daasi Maa. Directed by Vishal Furia, the film also starred Nushrratt Bharuccha, Gashmeer Mahajan, and Saurabh Goyal, and premiered on Amazon Prime Video on April 11.
