Sony has officially introduced the Xperia 10 VII, a sleek mid-range smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The handset comes with a large 5,000mAh battery, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage, making it a balanced choice for users who prioritize performance, portability, and endurance.
The device features a 6.1-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, enhancing durability against drops and scratches. On the optics side, the Xperia 10 VII sports a dual rear camera system comprising a 50MP primary Exmor RS sensor with an 84-degree field of view and a 13MP ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view. For selfies, it includes an 8MP front-facing shooter.
Running on Android 15, the Xperia 10 VII supports expandable storage of up to 2TB via a MicroSD card. It also offers dual-SIM support (Nano + eSIM), Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and Google Cast. The phone is IP65 and IP68 certified, ensuring dust and water resistance, while also integrating a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In terms of pricing, the Xperia 10 VII starts at EUR 399 (approx. Rs. 42,000) and GBP 449 (around Rs. 47,000). It will be available in three color options — White, Turquoise, and Charcoal Black. Pre-orders begin on September 12 across select regions including the UK, EU, and Japan. However, Sony’s smartphone lineup remains absent in India, where the brand previously ceased mobile operations.
Measuring 153×72×8.3mm and weighing 168g, the Xperia 10 VII strikes a balance between compact design and strong hardware, making it a promising choice for users in select global markets.
