Anil Kapoor is set to return in a powerful and intense avatar with his upcoming action drama Subedaar, and the newly released teaser has already sparked strong buzz. Promising a raw and emotionally charged performance, the film marks Anil Kapoor’s direct-to-OTT release and showcases him in a role driven by rage discipline and moral conflict.
Written by Suresh Triveni and Prajwal Chandrashekar and helmed by Suresh Triveni of Tumhari Sulu fame, Subedaar dives deep into the psychological and emotional struggles of a man shaped by years of service. The teaser hints at a dark world filled with corruption crime and broken relationships where the protagonist refuses to compromise on his principles.
In the film Anil Kapoor essays the role of Subedaar Arjun Maurya, a retired soldier battling inner demons while trying to adapt to a society that no longer aligns with the values he once defended. His simmering anger and relentless fight against injustice form the emotional core of the narrative making the film both intense and thought provoking.
The cast also includes Radhikka Madan in a key role along with Saurabh Shukla Aditya Rawal Faisal Malik and Mona Singh who play important characters that add depth to the story.
