Taylor Swift Unveils The Eras Tour Docuseries Featuring Full Tortured Poets Department Set on Disney+

Date:

Taylor Swift has officially announced her upcoming docuseries titled “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era,” a six-part series that will include the entire Tortured Poets Department performance. The highly anticipated project is set to premiere on December 12, 2025, exclusively on Disney+ and JioCinema (Hotstar) in India.

The announcement follows Swift’s mysterious teaser about a “major reveal” on Good Morning America, which had fans speculating about new music or concert footage. Swift later confirmed the news on her social media platforms, releasing the trailer alongside a heartfelt caption:

The series will document the final stages of The Eras Tour, including never-before-seen moments, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews that dive deep into the making of one of the most successful tours in modern music history.

Swift revealed that the docuseries will showcase the final concert in full, including all performances from the Tortured Poets Department era, her most recent and deeply personal album. The first two episodes of the six-part series, titled “The Final Show”, will be released on the premiere date.

About The Eras Tour

Launched in March 2023 in Arizona, The Eras Tour quickly became a global cultural phenomenon. Spanning five continents, the tour featured a three-hour setlist covering all ten of Swift’s musical eras, blending nostalgia, storytelling, and theatrical performances. Fans around the world praised the show’s evolving set designs, surprise songs, and signature acoustic sessions.

During one of her final performances, Swift told the crowd, “This is the longest tour I’ve ever done, and that’s because I never wanted it to end. You made it such a beautiful, magical journey for all of us.”

The Eras Tour also popularized the fan tradition of friendship bracelets, inspired by a lyric in her song “You’re On Your Own, Kid.” What started as a small fan activity became a worldwide phenomenon — with concertgoers trading bracelets at every show as a symbol of connection and community.

After the global success of The Eras Tour concert film, this docuseries is expected to give fans an even deeper look into Swift’s artistic process and emotional farewell to one of her most defining chapters.

With her new album The Life of a Showgirl already dominating charts and The Eras Tour docuseries on the horizon, Taylor Swift continues to prove why she’s one of the most influential and beloved artists in the world.
