Tecno has officially expanded its entry-level smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Tecno Spark Go 3, a budget-friendly device designed to deliver modern features at an accessible price point. Aimed at first-time smartphone buyers and value-focused users, the new handset combines a large high-refresh-rate display, long battery life and the latest Android version in an affordable package.
The Tecno Spark Go 3 features a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and a smooth refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a rare addition in this segment. The large screen is suited for everyday tasks such as browsing social media, streaming videos and casual gaming. Powering the smartphone is the Unisoc T7250 octa-core chipset built on a 4nm process, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of internal storage, offering reliable performance for daily use.
Running on Android 15 out of the box, the device delivers a clean and updated software experience. Tecno has also integrated its Ella voice assistant to assist users with basic tasks and voice commands. The phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and offers drop protection of up to 1.2 metres, making it more durable for everyday handling.
For photography, the Tecno Spark Go 3 comes equipped with a single 13-megapixel rear camera supported by a dual LED flash. It supports multiple camera modes including AI CAM, Portrait, Super Night, Beauty, Vlog, Time-lapse, Panorama and Pro mode, along with 2K video recording. On the front, an 8-megapixel selfie camera handles video calls and self-portraits. A notable addition is Tecno’s offline calling feature, which allows communication between Tecno devices within a 1.5km range without network connectivity.
The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, designed to comfortably last a full day of usage. It supports 15W wired fast charging via a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS. Tecno also claims that the device is optimised to deliver up to four years of lag-free performance.
In terms of pricing, the Tecno Spark Go 3 is priced at Rs 8,999 in India for the single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The smartphone will go on sale starting January 23 via Amazon and will also be available through Flipkart at a later date, alongside offline retail stores. Buyers can choose from four colour options including Titanium Grey, Ink Black, Galaxy Blue and Aurora Purple.
