Hollywood actor Tom Holland has given fans a scare after suffering a mild concussion during filming of the new Spider-Man movie at the UK’s Leavesden Studios. The accident, caused by a stunt mishap where a pull ring line snapped, led to the 29-year-old actor being rushed to the hospital. Doctors confirmed it was a mild head injury, and production has been temporarily halted for two weeks.
Despite the unexpected pause, insiders have assured fans that the situation is under control and that the Spider-Man: Brand New Day release in July 2026 will not be delayed. A production source revealed that filming was scheduled to resume in London but has now been postponed while Holland recovers. “No one wants to push him back too quickly. The focus is on his health,” the insider added.
During his recovery, Tom Holland has been “taking it easy” and was even seen attending the Brother’s Trust Gala in London with his family and girlfriend Zendaya. The charity, run by his parents Dominic and Nikki, helps smaller organizations gain visibility.
The actor previously shared his excitement about reprising his role as Peter Parker, marking his fourth time donning the Spider-Man suit. Holland told fans on set in Glasgow, “It feels different this time. I’m just going to do my best and hopefully get it right.”
