The UAE Flag Garden has once again arrived to mark the nation’s celebratory season. Situated at Umm Suqeim Beach beside the famous Burj Al Arab, this annual patriotic display brings thousands of UAE flags together to honor UAE Flag Day and UAE National Day. Now in its twelfth edition, the attraction continues to draw residents and tourists for its vibrant visuals and iconic location.
Visitors can explore the UAE Flag Garden from Friday October 31 through Saturday January 10. During this time, people can capture vivid photographs featuring the Burj Al Arab and the newly launched Jumeirah Al Marsa as a backdrop. The installation has been developed by Brand Dubai, the creative division of Dubai’s government, as part of the year’s extended celebrations dedicated to UAE’s founding leaders His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
This year’s layout transforms the flags into impressive aerial portraits of the two visionary rulers when viewed from above. As always, the attraction remains free for everyone to visit and photograph. It continues to be a crowd-puller for families and tourists looking to participate in UAE’s national pride moments and share their experiences across social media.
Flag Day is observed annually on November 3 to commemorate the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan assuming the presidency in 2004. Although the flag garden has featured for more than a decade, this marks the thirteenth year that the nation honors UAE Flag Day. Visitors are encouraged to capture their moments and share them online using the hashtags #ZayedAndRashid and #UAEFlagGarden.
