Vivo X200T Appears on BIS and Bluetooth SIG Hinting at Imminent India Launch

Date:

Vivo seems to be gearing up for another smartphone launch in India as the upcoming Vivo X200T has surfaced on key certification platforms. The device has been spotted on both the Bluetooth SIG database and the Bureau of Indian Standards website strengthening speculation that the handset could officially debut in the Indian market very soon. The listings suggest Vivo is preparing to expand its X-series portfolio following the launch of the Vivo X200 FE last year.

The Bluetooth SIG certification confirms the model number V2561 which is now linked to the Vivo X200T name. While the listing does not reveal hardware specifications it does indicate that the device is nearing its commercial release stage. The same model number has also appeared on the BIS website which is a mandatory step for smartphones launching in India further reinforcing the likelihood of an India launch.

Industry reports suggest that the Vivo X200T could arrive as a rebranded version of the Vivo X200 FE which was launched in India in July 2025. If this turns out to be true users can expect flagship-grade performance and premium features at a competitive price point. The BIS database has also listed another Vivo model V2537 which is believed to be associated with the Vivo X300 FE indicating that Vivo has multiple launches planned in the coming months.

Based on existing information the Vivo X200T is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus processor delivering top-tier performance for gaming multitasking and AI-driven tasks. The device is also tipped to house a large 6500mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging ensuring long usage hours and quick power top-ups.

Display-wise the Vivo X200T may sport a 6.31-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate offering smooth visuals and vibrant colors. Camera capabilities are likely to remain a strong highlight with a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup possibly including a 50-megapixel primary sensor an 8-megapixel secondary lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. On the front a 50-megapixel selfie camera could handle high-resolution photos and video calls.

Additional expected features include LPDDR5X RAM UFS 3.1 storage options and an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. While Vivo has not officially confirmed the launch date the appearance of the Vivo X200T on multiple certification platforms strongly suggests that an announcement could be just around the corner.
