Vivo is likely preparing to introduce its latest X300 lineup to the Indian market in December, following its global launch earlier this month. The series consists of two models — Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro — powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and designed to compete in the premium smartphone segment. Ahead of the official announcement, a leaked render has revealed a bold red colourway for the standard Vivo X300 that may be offered only to Indian buyers. Currently, the phone is sold internationally in Halo Pink and Phantom Black, while China gets two additional colour finishes.
According to well-known industry sources, only the regular Vivo X300 is expected to receive this India-exclusive red version. The Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300 FE will reportedly skip this shade. The handset design seen in fresh leaks appears similar to the global model, featuring a sleek body style and the iconic circular camera layout. However, Vivo has not confirmed the India launch timeline or colour options yet, leaving fans eagerly waiting.
In international markets, the Vivo X300 features a 6.31-inch Q10+ LTPO AMOLED display with 1,216×2,640 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and high touch response for smooth performance. It runs on the 3nm Dimensity 9500 processor paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, making it capable of fast multitasking and top-tier gaming performance.
Photography is a major highlight of the device. The rear setup includes a 200-megapixel OIS-enabled primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera tuned by Zeiss for improved low-light imaging and enhanced zoom clarity. For selfies and video calls, there is a 50-megapixel sensor on the front in a centred punch-hole cutout.
The Vivo X300 packs a 5,360mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging along with 40W wireless charging to ensure quick refuelling. If Vivo keeps the same specifications for India, buyers can expect a high-performance flagship experience combined with a fresh exclusive colour choice that may attract stylish smartphone users.
