Upcoming flagship smartphones from Vivo and Oppo are expected to arrive with premium price tags, according to recent leaks. The Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra could be priced higher than the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, mainly due to rising storage component costs.
Reports suggest that both devices may cost around CNY 500 more than Xiaomi’s latest ultra flagship for similar RAM and storage configurations. For reference, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra debuted in China at a starting price of CNY 6,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. Based on this comparison, the Vivo X300 Ultra could be priced close to CNY 7,500 for a similar model.
The new Vivo X300 series, including the X300 Ultra and X300s, is scheduled to launch in China on March 30. Ahead of the official unveiling, several key features have already been teased, highlighting a strong focus on camera innovation and performance upgrades.
One of the standout features of the Vivo X300 Ultra is its advanced camera system. The device is expected to include a powerful 200 megapixel Sony LYT 901 primary sensor along with a unique 400mm Zeiss telephoto extender kit, offering enhanced zoom capabilities. Both the X300 Ultra and X300s are also expected to support 200mm telephoto shooting and introduce a new imaging system called Blueprint Native Color.
Meanwhile, the Vivo X300s is shaping up to be a performance focused device with a large 7100mAh battery and a 6.78 inch display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to include a Zeiss tuned 200 megapixel rear camera setup.
Both smartphones are likely to be available in a green colour option and are positioned to compete strongly in the premium flagship segment. However, the expected price increase compared to competitors like Xiaomi could play a key role in shaping buyer decisions.
As anticipation builds ahead of the official launch, these devices are already generating attention for their advanced camera capabilities and high end specifications.
