Wicked The Musical Makes Its Dubai Debut – Tickets Available Now

Wicked The Musical is set to enchant audiences in Dubai for the very first time, bringing the iconic story of Elphaba and Glinda to the stage. Co-presented by Dubai Opera and Broadway Entertainment, the show will run from Wednesday, January 28 to Sunday, February 16, 2026, offering audiences a chance to experience this all-singing-all-dancing spectacle in the heart of Downtown Dubai.

The musical follows the journey of the unlikely friendship between Elphaba and Glinda, from their early days at Shiz University to their adventures in the classic Emerald City of Oz. Audiences can expect breathtaking performances, memorable songs, and a visually stunning production that brings the magical world of Oz to life. Tickets range from Dhs275 on opening night to Dhs950 depending on seat selection, with front-row experiences available for those seeking an immersive theatre experience.

Wicked joins a series of major productions taking over Dubai Opera during the 2025/2026 season, alongside other acclaimed musicals such as Grease and Rumi: The Musical. Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, highlighted the role of Dubai Opera as a cultural landmark that enriches the city’s arts scene and supports Dubai’s reputation as a global events hub.
