Fresh leaks have revealed key global launch information for Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphones including the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The devices were first introduced in China in late 2025 and are now expected to make their international debut ahead of MWC 2026.
According to new industry reports both smartphones are likely to launch globally on February 28 placing them just days before the Mobile World Congress in March. The leak also sheds light on European pricing storage variants and colour choices giving fans a clearer picture of what to expect.
The Xiaomi 17 is expected to arrive in two configurations with the base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant tipped to cost EUR 999 while the higher 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model may be priced at EUR 1,099. On the premium side the Xiaomi 17 Ultra could debut with a starting price of EUR 1,499 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage option while the top-end 16GB RAM and 1TB variant may reach EUR 1,699.
In terms of colours the Xiaomi 17 is said to be offered in Black Green Blue and Pink finishes while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra may arrive in Black White and Green options. Although Xiaomi has officially confirmed a global rollout for the Ultra model the company has not yet publicly announced the launch date.
On the hardware front both smartphones are expected to run Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 skin and could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process. The Xiaomi 17 is rumoured to feature a 6.3 inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate a Leica backed triple rear camera system a 6330mAh battery and support for 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
With competitive pricing top tier specifications and an early global launch window the Xiaomi 17 series is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched smartphone releases of 2026.
