Xiaomi 17 Ultra Global Version Leaks Online Showing Flat Display and Flagship Specs

Date:

The global variant of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has surfaced online in a leaked image offering a closer look at its front design and key hardware details ahead of an official launch. The upcoming flagship smartphone is expected to debut in international markets including India later this month although Xiaomi has not yet confirmed a release date.

According to the leaked render the Xiaomi 17 Ultra global model features a flat display with slim bezels and a centrally placed hole punch cutout for the front camera closely matching the design of the Chinese variant launched in December. The device is said to sport a large 6.9 inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen delivering a premium visual experience.

The leaked image also reveals the model number 2512BPNDAG and suggests that the phone runs on Android 16 powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The variant seen in the leak includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage positioning it firmly in the ultra premium category.

While the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra packs a massive 6800mAh battery the global model is rumoured to include a slightly smaller 6000mAh battery. Despite this change the phone is expected to retain fast charging capabilities with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Camera performance remains a major highlight with the Xiaomi 17 Ultra featuring a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50 megapixel primary sensor a 50 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 200 megapixel periscope telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls the phone is expected to offer a 50 megapixel front facing camera.

Pricing leaks suggest the Xiaomi 17 Ultra global variant could be priced around EUR 1499 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage option. With flagship specifications Leica tuned optics and a refined design the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most powerful Android smartphones of 2026.
