Xiaomi has officially teased the arrival of its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, which is set to debut in China on June 26. Ahead of its launch, the brand has released multiple teasers confirming key design elements and specifications of the clamshell foldable. The Mix Flip 2 features a 4.01-inch external display and a 6.86-inch internal AMOLED panel. The phone is powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and boasts a substantial 5,165mAh battery, marking an upgrade from its predecessor.
The design of the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 showcases a refined metal midframe and is expected to be available in black gold green and purple shades. Xiaomi also highlights that over 500 apps are optimized to function on the outer display, which reaches a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The foldable mechanism includes a new durable hinge tested for over 200,000 folds.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has been spotted on the Geekbench platform with the model number 2505APX7BC, showing benchmark results of 3,099 in single-core and 9,583 in multi-core tests. The device runs on Android 15 and features 10.86GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset comprises an octa-core CPU with six performance cores clocked at 3.53GHz and two high-performance cores clocked at 4.32GHz.
In terms of charging capabilities, the Mix Flip 2 supports 50W wireless charging, an upgrade over the previous model’s 30W. The device is designed to be slim, measuring just 7.57mm when folded and weighing approximately 199 grams. Photography is enhanced by a Leica-branded dual rear camera system, promising flagship-level imaging.
Alongside the Mix Flip 2, Xiaomi is also expected to unveil several new products during the June 26 event, including the Redmi K80 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, Redmi K Pad, and Xiaomi YU7.
