Date:

Xiaomi has officially started rolling out the HyperOS 3 update to a range of Xiaomi Redmi and Poco devices, bringing Android 16 and new AI features to users across India and select global markets. First introduced with the Xiaomi 17 series at the September 2025 launch event, the HyperOS 3 update now extends to Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi Pad 7, Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi 13, Poco F7 5G, and Poco M7 Pro 5G. The update introduces HyperIsland, a Dynamic Island-style feature displaying notifications and live activity updates at a glance, along with a dual-island interface for multitasking, dynamic wallpapers, and cinematic lock screens.

The HyperOS 3 firmware also integrates Xiaomi HyperAI tools, including smart screen recognition, DeepThink mode, AI Speed Recognition, and AI-powered writing features that let users modify text tone and style, enhance audio recordings, generate real-time transcripts, and summarize audio files. Users can check for the update via Settings by navigating to My Device and tapping the HyperOS banner to Download and Install Update. Multiple restarts may occur during installation, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system. The update enhances device performance, introduces new animations and widgets, and strengthens the AI capabilities across Xiaomi’s smartphone ecosystem.
