Travelers planning to fly through Dubai International Airport are being advised to double-check their flight schedules as several major international airlines continue suspending services to Dubai. While local carriers are gradually restoring operations following the reopening of UAE airspace, many global airlines are still operating under reduced schedules or extended cancellations.
A total of 17 international airlines have either paused or significantly reduced flights to Dubai due to operational adjustments and regional travel considerations. Airlines across Europe Asia and North America have updated their schedules with different timelines for resuming services.
Greek carrier Aegean Airlines has suspended Dubai flights until the end of August 2026 while Kazakhstan’s Air Astana has extended cancellations through May. Latvian airline airBaltic has halted operations to Dubai until late October.
Canadian airline Air Canada also confirmed suspended Dubai flights until September with flexible rebooking and refund options available for passengers. Meanwhile Air France continues monitoring the situation and currently plans to resume operations later in May.
British travelers have also been affected as British Airways extended cancellations on Dubai routes through the end of May. Hong Kong carrier Cathay Pacific suspended flights until June while Philippine low-cost airline Cebu Pacific paused operations through May 31.
Several European carriers including Finnair Eurowings KLM and the Lufthansa Group have also updated their Dubai schedules with suspensions ranging from June to October.
Turkish carriers such as Pegasus Airlines and SunExpress continue offering passengers flexible ticket changes and refund policies due to ongoing route adjustments.
Other airlines impacted include Royal Air Maroc Singapore Airlines and budget airline Wizz Air which currently shows limited or unavailable Dubai services until later in the year.
Passengers affected by these cancellations are encouraged to contact their airlines directly for updated travel options including refunds alternative flights or ticket credits. As operations continue to stabilize at Dubai airports further schedule changes may still occur in the coming weeks.
