Honor 500 Pro and Honor 500 Listings Reveal Colour Options and Storage Variants Ahead of China Launch

Date:

The upcoming Honor 500 series is getting closer to launch as new listings on the company’s official online store in China reveal detailed configurations for both the Honor 500 Pro and the standard Honor 500. The brand previously teased a refreshed camera design, and the latest listings now confirm multiple colourways and storage variants across the lineup.

According to the store listing, the Honor 500 Pro will be available in Aquamarine, Starlight Powder, Obsidian Black, and Moonlight Silver, showcasing a sleek redesign with a pill-shaped horizontal camera module containing a triple rear camera setup. The Pro model will come in 12GB RAM + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 512GB, 16GB RAM + 512GB, and a top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant, all supporting 5G connectivity.

The regular Honor 500 will feature the same colour options as the Pro but will be limited to 12GB RAM + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 512GB, and 16GB RAM + 512GB, without a 1TB version. Meanwhile, the company also teased a new side button on one of the models, reminiscent of Apple’s Camera Control button, hinting at additional camera-focused features.

While Honor has not disclosed the exact launch date, leaks suggest notable hardware upgrades. Reports indicate the series may include a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Honor 500 Pro is rumoured to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with an 8,000mAh battery, supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The standard Honor 500 may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 chip.

With increasing anticipation in China, the Honor 500 series is shaping up to be a strong contender in the mid-premium smartphone segment.
