The upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 has once again entered the spotlight as a fresh leak reveals what appears to be the first clear look at its design. Although Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the device, multiple reports suggest the smartphone is set to succeed the Redmi Turbo 4 and may arrive later this month in China. The leaked image, originally shared on Weibo and posted by a known tipster, showcases the handset in a white finish reminiscent of the Luck Cloud White variant seen on its predecessor.
The Redmi Turbo 5 features a centred hole-punch display paired with slim, equal-sized bezels, giving it a cleaner and more refined front design. On the rear, the device is seen with a vertically arranged dual-camera setup, where the secondary lens is surrounded by a distinctive green accent ring, marking a subtle but noticeable shift in styling. An LED flash is positioned next to the module for improved low-light photography.
According to leaks, the Redmi Turbo 5 may launch internationally as the Poco F8, powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Earlier rumours indicated that the device could instead carry the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor and be sold globally as the Poco X8 Pro, but the new information points toward Qualcomm’s flagship platform.
The device was also spotted on China’s 3C certification website under model number 2511FRT34C, hinting at support for 100W wired fast charging and a massive 8,000mAh battery. Additional expected features include a 6.5-inch LTPS flat display with a 1.5K resolution, a metal frame, an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP68-rated body for dust and water resistance. With its launch reportedly approaching, the Redmi Turbo 5 appears set to be one of the most talked-about mid-premium smartphones of the season.
