Lava has officially launched the Lava Play Max 5G in India, bringing a powerful combination of performance and design at an affordable price. The handset is available in two colour variants, Deccan Black and Himalayan White, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor built on a 4nm process. Lava Play Max 5G features a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a responsive and vibrant visual experience.
The phone is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera capable of 4K video recording at 30fps with electronic image stabilisation, and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Lava Play Max 5G comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, it offers virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB and supports MicroSD cards up to 1TB.
For thermal management, the handset uses a vapour chamber cooling system, enabling smooth performance during intensive gaming sessions of popular titles like COD Mobile, BGMI and Free Fire. The Lava Play Max 5G is IP54-rated, providing dust and water resistance, and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 15, making it feature-rich and future-ready.
The Lava Play Max 5G is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 14,499. It is available through retail stores across India.
