Global Village is gearing up for one of the most spectacular attractions of 2026 with a record-breaking drone show scheduled for Friday January 9. Over 3,000 drones will illuminate the skies above the park, creating breathtaking moving images and intricate shapes above the pavilions, kicking off the park’s 30th season celebrations. The show will lift off at 7.15pm, offering a must-see visual experience for families and visitors alike.
The drone display also marks the launch of the Wonderers’ Kids Fest, a special festival designed for children aged 3 to 12. The Kids Fest runs daily from Friday January 9 until Sunday February 15 between 4pm and 10pm, providing interactive games, live shows, and fun activities included with the standard Dhs25 entry ticket. Attractions include a Guinness World Record Snakes and Ladders game, a life-sized Giant Battleship game, and a four-in-a-row challenge, offering engaging activities that promote teamwork, strategy, and friendly competition.
In addition to the drone show and Kids Fest, Global Village this season features The Wonderverse, a new augmented reality experience. Open throughout Dubai’s cooler months, the 30th season of Global Village will continue until Sunday May 10, providing visitors with months of family-friendly entertainment and innovative attractions in Dubailand.
