Fitness creator reveals zero-sugar strawberry walnut muffins packed with protein and low calories

Date:

Managing dessert cravings while sticking to a healthy lifestyle can be tough, especially when most sweet treats are high in sugar and calories. Fruits alone don’t always do the trick when that dessert urge hits. But a new recipe shared by fitness influencer Vanshika Khurana is offering a smarter way to indulge without guilt.

Vanshika recently posted her take on strawberry and walnut muffins that are completely free from added sugar and refined flour. Instead of all-purpose flour, the recipe uses oat flour along with cookable protein powder, making the muffins both filling and nutritious. Strawberries add natural sweetness along with vitamin C and antioxidants, while walnuts contribute healthy fats like omega-3s.

According to the influencer, each muffin contains around 8 to 9 grams of protein and roughly 180 to 190 calories, making it a balanced option for anyone trying to satisfy sweet cravings while staying on track with fitness goals. The muffins are designed to be soft and flavourful without causing sugar spikes, thanks to the use of zero-calorie sweeteners and wholesome ingredients like skyr and bananas.

The recipe is simple enough to prepare at home using an oven or air fryer and yields eight muffins in one batch. With minimal processing and smart ingredient swaps, these muffins aim to prove that desserts can be both enjoyable and nourishing at the same time.
