Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G in India, expanding its popular Y series lineup with a device focused on long battery life and 5G connectivity. The new smartphone is equipped with a large 7200mAh battery and a 50 megapixel main camera, offering users a balance of performance and endurance.
The device will be available for purchase through Flipkart as well as the official Vivo India online store. The smartphone arrives in two storage variants and two color choices designed to appeal to a wide range of buyers.
Vivo Y51 Pro 5G Price and Availability in India
The starting price of the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G in India is Rs 24999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The higher configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 27999. Customers purchasing the device before March 16 can also receive cashback benefits of up to Rs 2500 as part of the launch offer.
The handset officially went on sale on March 11 through Flipkart and Vivo’s online store. Buyers can choose between Festive Red and Noble Gold color options.
Vivo Y51 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
The smartphone runs on Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 interface. It features a large 6.75 inch LCD display with a resolution of 720×1570 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate designed to enhance scrolling and gaming performance.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo built on a 4nm architecture. The processor includes four high performance cores running at speeds up to 2.5GHz along with four efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The phone also includes 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel main sensor with an f2.0 aperture accompanied by a 2 megapixel secondary camera. On the front the device houses an 8 megapixel selfie camera suitable for video calls and social media photography. The handset is capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution.
One of the standout highlights of the device is its large 7200mAh battery which supports 44W wired fast charging. The phone also comes with multiple connectivity features including 5G support 4G LTE Wi Fi Bluetooth 5.4 GPS and a USB Type C port.
Additional features include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance a side mounted fingerprint sensor and several built in sensors such as an accelerometer gyroscope ambient light sensor proximity sensor and e compass. The smartphone measures 166.6 x 78.4 x 8.39 mm and weighs around 219 grams.
