Samsung’s upcoming flagship mobile processor, believed to be the Exynos 2700, has surfaced on a benchmarking platform, offering an early glimpse into its potential capabilities. Although the company has not officially confirmed the chipset, early listings suggest it could power future flagship smartphones expected in 2027.
According to benchmark data, the chipset carries the model number S5E9975 and features a 10-core CPU configuration. This setup appears to include a mix of cores with varying clock speeds, indicating a redesigned architecture compared to its predecessor. The processor reportedly includes one core running at 2.30GHz, four cores at 2.40GHz, another core at 2.78GHz, and four high-performance cores clocked at 2.88GHz.
This marks a shift from the Exynos 2600’s structure, suggesting Samsung is experimenting with a more refined performance and efficiency balance. Alongside the CPU, the chipset is paired with an Xclipse 970 GPU, which is expected to deliver improved graphics performance for gaming and high-end applications.
The test device used for benchmarking reportedly had around 12GB of RAM and was running Android 17, indicating that the chip is being tested on next-generation software. Performance scores from Geekbench show the chip achieving 2,603 points in single-core tests and 10,350 points in multi-core performance.
While these numbers are close to the current flagship Exynos 2600 results, they do not yet represent the final performance of the chip. Since the processor is likely still under development, further optimization and improvements are expected before its official release.
Additionally, the chip has also appeared in GPU benchmarks, recording an OpenCL score of 15,618, which hints at steady graphical performance improvements. If these early details hold true, the Exynos 2700 could become a key component in Samsung’s future premium smartphones, potentially delivering better efficiency, performance, and graphics capabilities.
