Honor has officially introduced the new Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro smartphones in select global markets, combining next-gen Snapdragon chipsets with a 200-megapixel primary camera and a host of AI-powered imaging tools. The standard Honor 400 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 platform, while the premium Honor 400 Pro is powered by the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
The Honor 400 Pro showcases a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and a pixel density of 460ppi. It features the latest Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 and supports dual SIM (Nano + eSIM). Alongside the Adreno 750 GPU, the phone offers up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It is built to endure with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
On the imaging front, the Honor 400 Pro sports a triple camera setup featuring a 200MP main lens with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX856 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. Selfie lovers get a powerful 50MP front camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 GPS NFC USB Type-C dual stereo speakers and advanced Wi-Fi capabilities. The 5,300mAh silicon-carbon battery supports 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Wired charging can boost the phone to 51% in just 15 minutes, while wireless charging achieves 33% in the same time. The battery is built to retain 80% health over four years.
Meanwhile, the Honor 400 brings a slightly more compact 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with identical brightness and refresh rate specifications. It shares the same Android 15 OS and dual SIM capability and houses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip with Adreno 720 GPU. Users get up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. Its dual-camera system includes a 200MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 30x digital zoom, while the front has a 50MP camera.
The Honor 400 also carries a 5,300mAh battery but supports only 66W wired charging. It is certified with IP65 for basic dust and water resistance and weighs approximately 184 grams.
AI-based features are at the core of the Honor 400 series, including HD Moving Photo AI Portrait Snap Moving Photo Collage AI Eraser and AI Outpainting. A standout is the Image to Video tool powered by Google Cloud, which transforms static images into video clips. Google’s Gemini AI assistant is integrated into the system, enhancing user interaction through smart functionalities.
In terms of pricing, the Honor 400 Pro is available at GBP 699 (approximately INR 80,000) in Lunar Grey Tidal Blue and Midnight Black. The Honor 400 starts at GBP 399 (around INR 48,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model and GBP 449 (around INR 51,000) for the 8GB + 512GB version, offered in Desert Gold Meteor Silver and Midnight Black.
Both models are now available for purchase in select global regions. Honor has also confirmed a China launch on May 28 at 7:30 PM local time.
