Poco is all set to introduce a new smartphone in the Indian market, with teasers already live on the brand’s official channels and Flipkart. Though the name has not been officially confirmed, leaks strongly point to the Poco M7 Plus as the upcoming model. The new device is expected to bring performance upgrades over the previously launched Poco M6 Plus, particularly in the areas of battery life, processing power, and display.
Poco M7 Plus Expected Features and Launch Information
As per the latest reports, the Poco M7 Plus is expected to make its India debut on August 13, 2025, and could be priced below Rs 15,000. Poco has not formally confirmed the launch date or name, but the teaser tagline “Power for All” and rear panel visuals have hinted toward a powerful mid-range device with a dual-camera setup and a black finish.
A major highlight of the upcoming Poco M7 Plus is its 7,000mAh battery, expected to support 33W fast charging. This significant battery capacity is designed for users who demand long-lasting power. The smartphone is likely to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, offering improved efficiency and performance for gaming and multitasking.
The M7 Plus may feature a large 6.9-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, promising smoother visuals for streaming and gameplay. The camera setup could include a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The previous model, Poco M6 Plus, was launched in August 2024 at a starting price of Rs. 13,499, featuring the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE chipset, 6.79-inch FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 108MP primary rear camera. The M7 Plus is anticipated to offer a clear step up from its predecessor in multiple departments.
