Red Magic 11 Pro Geekbench Leak Reveals Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Power and Possible Launch

Date:

The highly anticipated Red Magic 11 Pro gaming smartphone has surfaced on Geekbench, giving fans the first real glimpse of its performance and hardware details. With a model number listed as Nubia NX809J, this upcoming device looks set to carry Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, potentially making it one of the most powerful Android phones of 2025.

Geekbench Scores and Hardware Insights

The Geekbench listing shows the Nubia NX809J — likely the Red Magic 11 Pro — with an impressive single-core score of 3,309 and a multi-core score of 10,742. The benchmark reveals an octa-core processor codenamed canoe, which features two performance cores clocked at 4.19GHz and six efficiency cores capped at 3.63GHz. This matches reports of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, which Qualcomm is expected to unveil at the Snapdragon Summit next month.

The listing also indicates that the phone tested had 16GB of RAM (14.87GB usable) and ran on Android 16, pointing to the possibility that Nubia’s next flagship will launch with Google’s latest mobile OS out of the box.

Successor to the Red Magic 10 Pro

The Red Magic 10 Pro, launched globally in December 2024, set the stage with a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, up to 24GB RAM, and 1TB storage. It also packed a 50MP triple rear camera setup, a 16MP under-display front camera, and a 6,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

The Red Magic 11 Pro is expected to carry forward these premium specs with next-gen upgrades — especially in gaming performance, display refresh rate, and thermal cooling. With Geekbench scores now surfacing, the launch seems imminent.

Expected Pricing and Release

While Nubia hasn’t announced official pricing, the Red Magic 10 Pro launched at $649 (approx. Rs. 55,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 11 Pro could see a slightly higher starting price, given the new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and Android 16 integration.

Gamers and tech enthusiasts can expect the Red Magic 11 Pro to be revealed in late 2025, possibly shortly after Qualcomm’s chipset announcement.
