Honor has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Honor Magic 8 and Honor Magic 8 Pro, in China. The new devices run on MagicOS 10, based on Android 16, and feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB internal storage. Both models come equipped with a triple rear camera setup, offering advanced photography capabilities for enthusiasts and tech lovers.
The Honor Magic 8 Pro sports a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 6,000 nits HDR. Its rear cameras include a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, complemented by the AIMAGE Honor Nox Engine and CIPA 5.5 image stabilization. The front camera is a 50MP shooter with a 3D depth sensor. Its 7,200mAh battery supports 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging, with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Honor Magic 8 features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and peak HDR brightness of 6,000 nits. Its triple rear cameras include a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens, and 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. The front camera is 50MP wide-angle. It houses a 7,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless fast charging support. Both devices offer 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C, and an array of sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, proximity, compass, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The Honor Magic 8 series comes in Velvet Black, Snow White, Sunrise Gold, and Azure Glaze shades, catering to style-conscious users. Prices for the Magic 8 start at roughly Rs. 55,000, while the Magic 8 Pro begins at approximately Rs. 70,200, varying by RAM and storage configuration. These flagship models mark a significant step forward in Honor’s smartphone innovation, combining high-end performance, photography, and battery technology.
