Honor has officially introduced its latest smartphone, the Honor Play 80 Pro, in China, expanding its Play series lineup with a feature-packed device aimed at performance and long battery life. The smartphone is expected to go on sale soon through the brand’s official online store and arrives in multiple configurations and color options.
The Honor Play 80 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, delivering reliable performance for everyday usage and multitasking. It comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, ensuring smooth operation and ample space for apps media and files.
One of the standout highlights of the device is its large 7000mAh battery, designed to offer extended usage without frequent charging. This makes it particularly appealing for users who prioritize long-lasting battery life for gaming streaming and daily tasks.
On the display front, the smartphone features a 6.8-inch HD+ TFT LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 850 nits. The screen supports vivid colors and is protected by aluminosilicate glass for added durability. It also carries an IP65 rating, offering resistance against dust and water.
For photography, the Honor Play 80 Pro includes a 50-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and digital zoom capabilities. On the front, it houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera suitable for video calls and basic photography needs. The device supports video recording up to 1080p resolution.
The phone runs on MagicOS 9 based on Android 15 and supports dual SIM connectivity. Additional features include 5G support Wi Fi Bluetooth 5.1 GPS and multiple sensors such as fingerprint sensor ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
In terms of pricing, the base variant with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage starts at CNY 1899 while the 8GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 2099. The top-end model with 12GB RAM is available for CNY 2299. The smartphone is offered in Azure Sky Black Phantom Night and White Moonlight color options.
