Honor has officially launched the Honor Power 2 in China, introducing a powerful smartphone designed for long-lasting performance and advanced features. The new device comes with a massive 10,080mAh battery supporting 80W wired fast charging, ensuring extended usage without frequent recharges. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, the phone features an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz, Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage. It runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 and supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6, NFC, and multiple satellite navigation systems including GPS GLONASS BeiDou Galileo GNSS.
The Honor Power 2 sports a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate 3840Hz PWM dimming HDR support and 1.07 billion colors. It also includes eye protection modes like Low Blue Light Extreme Dark Mode Oasis Eye Protection AI Defocus Vision Soothing and Natural Light-like Eye Protection. The dual rear camera system consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, complemented by a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Additional photography features include AI photography multi-lens video recording high-resolution mode time-lapse night mode smile-to-capture and voice-activated shooting.
The smartphone offers IP66 IP68 IP69 IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance and measures 162.1×76.3×7.98mm weighing 216 grams. Honor Power 2 will be available in three color options Phantom Black Snowfield White and Rising Sun Orange, with pricing starting at CNY 2,699 for 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and CNY 2,999 for 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. The device will go on sale from January 9 through the Honor online store.
