Chinese tech giant Huawei has officially introduced its latest premium smartphone, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition, bringing a unique focus on performance with an integrated cooling system and upgraded hardware.
The newly launched device stands out with its built-in turbofan cooling mechanism designed to manage heat efficiently during intensive tasks such as gaming and live streaming. This feature helps maintain stable performance while supporting high frame rates and smoother graphics rendering.
The smartphone features a large 6.9 inch LTPO AMOLED display offering full HD plus resolution along with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and impressive peak brightness levels. The display is further protected by second generation Kunlun glass, enhancing durability.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the advanced Kirin 9030 Pro chipset paired with 16GB RAM. It also includes Huawei’s virtual memory expansion technology, allowing additional RAM support for improved multitasking performance.
In terms of photography, the phone sports a triple rear camera system. This includes a 50 megapixel primary sensor with adjustable aperture and optical image stabilisation, a 40 megapixel ultra wide lens, and a 50 megapixel macro telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, it features a 13 megapixel front camera along with a 3D depth sensing sensor.

Powering the handset is a massive 6000mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging, along with reverse charging capability.
The Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition is available in China with pricing starting at approximately CNY 8499 for the base storage variant, while higher configurations offer expanded storage options.
